AGMs of this type are designed for very frequent charging and discharging. They are used in this way in alarm systems, UPS units, cash registers or emergency lighting. Buffer operation Buffer operation allows the battery to act as a back-up power supply for the connected device. The battery connected to the power supply system provides additional power in the event of a failure of the main power source. This is how they are used in wheelchairs, photovoltaic installations, golf carts, toys and lawnmowers. Maintenance-free operation Batteries made with AGM technology are designed to ensure the greatest possible safety during use.
