Because the water leaving the device is already in gaseous form, the water mist is invisible. For this reason, water deposits do not float in the air through droplets and do not fall around the device. An additional advantage of steam humidifiers is the lack of cooling effect in the room. Water evaporates when heated by a humidifier, unlike water mist, which absorbs heat from the surroundings.
