- Read speed (max.): ~145 MB/s
- Write speed (max.): ~115 MB/s
The maximum data reading speed in Megabytes per second. It indicates who many Megabytes per second can be transmitted by the particular flash memory to the computer or another device. For example, 5 MB/s allows to send one high quality mp3 file or a digital photo within a second.
The maximum data writing speed in Megabytes per second. It indicates who many Megabytes per second can be "received" by the particular flash memory from the computer or another device. For example, 5 MB/s allows to "receive" one high quality mp3 file or a digital photo within a second.
The type of connection supported by the flash memory.
USB2.0 technically maximum bandwidth speed is 480 Megabits that are transformed into Megabytes and are within the range of 40 Megabytes per second in the operation in the real world. Therefore USB2.0 flash memories that can write and read data above 30 MB/s can be considered as maximum high-speed within the limits of this connection.
For ensuring a higher operation speed the USB3.0 standard was introduced and this is currently available in new computers of average and expensive category and can ensure maximum ~4 Gigabit per second data transmission resulting in the data bandwidth of up to 400 Megabytes per second. However, it has to be admitted that for copying data at this speed the computer has to be equipped with the HDD or SSD with the writing or reading speed equal to or above the reading or writing speed of the flash memory and close to the USB 3.0 index.
USB2.0 and USB3.0 are retroactively compatible standards, i.e. USB 2.0 devices can be used with the USB 3.0 connection slots and vice versa. It just has to be taken into account that the slowest bandwidth will be used, i.e. USB 2.0

Description - Kingston IronKey Keypad 200 FIPS 140-3 Level 3 compliant XTS-AES 256-bit hardware encryption memory (certification pending) The Kingston IronKey Keypad 200 is an OS-agnostic, hardware-encrypted USB Type-A and USB Type-C1 drive with an alphanumeric keypad for easy PIN access. The KP200 memory is equipped with XTS-AES encryption with a 256-bit key. It is also FIPS 140-3 Level 3 certified (pending), confirming military-grade security with additional solutions that increase data security. The memory circuits are covered with a layer of special epoxy resin, which makes it virtually impossible to remove the components without damaging them, thus protecting against attacks on semiconductor systems. The memory is designed to highlight any attempt at physical interference. It is also protected against Brute Force and BadUSB password attacks thanks to digitally signed firmware. The alphanumeric keyboard is covered with a polymer layer that protects the keys and prevents the sequence of pressing them from being guessed through fingerprint analysis. The KP200 comes with a built-in battery that allows you to unlock it for the first time without using software and then connect it to any device that supports USB Type-A or USB Type-C storage devices. This provides the user with maximum flexibility in memory usage across multiple platforms with different operating systems. With the Multi-PIN feature (Admin and User PINs), the memory allows you to set easy-to-remember, but hard-to-guess alphanumeric PINs for your admin and user accounts. The administrator can restore the user's PIN and provide access to the storage if the user forgets the PIN or the storage locks after the user reaches the maximum number of 10 login attempts. When administrator and user PINs are enabled, the KP200 locks the user PIN after 10 consecutive failed login attempts. If the administrator PIN is entered incorrectly 10 times, Brute Force Protection cryptographically wipes the memory, permanently deletes data and resets the device. The memory also offers two levels of read-only mode (write protection): a general mode that can be set by the administrator, and a session mode that can be set by the user. Read-only modes protect memory from malware on untrusted systems. Additionally, an administrator can upload content and set the overall read-only mode, which allows the user to access the data but not make changes.
