TheRyzen 9 9900X is AMD's most advanced 3-4 nanometre "Zen 5" core and Threads processor. It boasts high base and boost frequencies as well as cache. The new Zen 5 microarchitecture Ryzen 9000 series processors have a significant 16% increase in IPC (instructions per cycle) compared to Zen 4 processors.
AMD Zen 5 is a completely re-engineered architecture. It delivers significant performance gains thanks to a 16% improvement in instructions per cycle and a redesigned core architecture. Using two manufacturing processes (4nm and 3nm) allows AMD to balance performance and efficiency depending on the processor type.
