The cable's range can be further extended by connecting several cables in sequence. A great advantage of the ADR-207 cable is the integrated connector for additional power supply. In most cases, power via the USB bus is sufficient, but for devices with higher power consumption, USB power may be insufficient over longer distances, and an external power supply from the mains can solve this problem.
