Description - ACU-220 ABAX 2 wireless system controller The ACU-220 uses the 868 MHz radio band, in which 4 channels have been allocated. Communication between ABAX 2 system elements is encrypted (AES standard) and bi-directional - all transmissions are confirmed. The controller is compatible with control panels of INTEGRA, INTEGRA Plus and VERSA families (connection via communication bus), enabling extension of the alarm system with wireless devices. It is also possible to operate with other, any control panels, automation controllers (using the Modbus RTU communication protocol or programmable inputs and outputs of the module) or autonomously. The ACU-220 meets the high Grade 2 requirements of the EN 50131 standard. An advantage of the controller is its excellent transmission range, which can reach up to 2,000 m in an open area - depending on the device cooperating with the controller and their operating conditions. Such good communication parameters have been achieved through the use of a modern radio system and the diversification of antennas. Depending on the level of the received radio signal, the ACU-220 automatically selects the optimum antenna to be used to receive the transmission. Configuration of system settings takes place in the ABAX 2 Soft software installed on a computer, which also has extensive diagnostic capabilities. When working with INTEGRA, INTEGRA Plus and VERSA control panels, the configuration is made in the DLOADX program or by means of the keypad. Changing the settings, as well as updating the software of the logged-in wireless devices is done by radio, without the need to disassemble them.
