Физический размер системной платы.
Dateks.lv предлагает размеры ATX (полноразмерная плата), mATX (micro ATX) (плата уменьшенного размера) и miniATX.

В корпус компьютера размером ATX можно поместить системные платы размером как ATX, так и mATX, но в корпус mATX  нельзя поместить плату ATX.

У плат ATX не меньше чем 3 слота памяти и не меньше чем 5 местных слот PCI, поэтому на основе этой платы можно построить хорошо функционирующий компьютер.
Но для домашней или офисной работы не надо так много слот, и поэтому подойдёт и плата microATX.

Соединитель блока питания на системной плате это разьём источника напряжения (стандарты ATX и ATX2.0). ATX - более старый соединитель (20pin), в то время как у ATX2.0 дополнительно имеется 4pin (20+4).
Системные платы стандарта ATX могут работать и с ATX2.0 блоком питания (PSU) , а плате ATX2.0 необходим только блок питания ATX2.0.

У форм-фактора скорее рекомендательный характер, но прежде чем приобрести системную плату, убедитесь, что размер корпуса и соединитель питания соответствует размеру вашей системной платы.

Плата, которая поддерживает память DDRII с частотой 800Mhz, может также работать со скоростями DDII667 и DDRII533. Системная плата со скоростью шины памяти, которая ниже чем скорость модуля памяти, не сможет работать быстрее чем указанная скорость шины (например, если шина памяти системной платы DDRII667, то вставя память DDRII800, она будет работать со скоростью DDRII667).
