LongDescription EN - Thinner and lighter
The new iPad mini is 14% thinner and 13% lighter than the previous model. Its compact body is comfortable to hold and easy to fit into a smaller bag. The device is also designed to withstand dust, splashes and accidental liquid exposure.
Super Retina XDR OLED display
The 8.5-inch OLED display controls the light output of each pixel individually, delivering deep blacks, accurate colours and strong contrast. Full-screen brightness reaches 600 nits, while peak brightness for HDR content reaches 1200 nits. The P3 wide colour gamut and True Tone adapt the image to the ambient lighting.
A20 Pro performance
The A20 Pro chip delivers up to 60% faster CPU performance and up to 2.7 times faster graphics performance than its predecessor. Hardware-accelerated ray tracing, mesh shading and Dynamic Caching support demanding games, graphics work and video applications.
Apple Intelligence and Siri AI
Apple Intelligence helps with writing, image editing and automating tasks. Siri AI understands conversational context, works across different apps and lets you ask for information about objects on screen by tapping them or circling them with Apple Pencil. Tasks are processed on the device whenever possible or through Private Cloud Compute.
iPadOS and multitasking
A flexible windowing system allows several apps to be used at the same time, with windows that can be resized and positioned freely. Connecting an external display allows the workspace to be expanded further. Apps designed for iPad cover writing, planning, drawing, photo editing and video creation.
Apple Pencil support
iPad mini works with Apple Pencil Pro and Apple Pencil USB-C. The stylus can be used for drawing, taking notes, signing documents and annotating screenshots. Scribble converts handwritten text into typed text.
Cameras and audio
The 12 MP Center Stage front camera is positioned on the landscape edge and keeps the user in frame during video calls. The 12 MP wide-angle rear camera records 4K video, while Adaptive True Tone flash helps with low-light photography and evenly illuminated document scanning. Acoustic Display speakers are positioned beneath the display and enclosure, while two microphones capture natural-sounding audio.
Fast wireless connectivity
The Apple N1 networking chip supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6 and Thread. This improves network speed and reliability for streaming, cloud services, gaming and smart home devices.
Battery and fast charging
The energy-efficient A20 Pro enables all-day use. With fast charging, the battery can reach around 50% in approximately 30 minutes under suitable conditions.
Super Retina XDR OLED-ekraan
Toiminguid töödeldakse võimaluse korral seadmes või Private Cloud Compute’i kaudu.
iPadOS ja rööprähklemine
Paindlik aknasüsteem võimaldab kasutada korraga mitut rakendust, muuta akende suurust ja paigutada neid vabalt. Välise kuvari ühendamisel saab tööruumi laiendada. iPadile loodud rakendused katavad kirjutamise, planeerimise, joonistamise, fototöötluse ja videoloome.
Apple Pencili tugi
iPad mini töötab Apple Pencil Pro ja Apple Pencil USB‑C mudeliga. Pliiatsiga saab joonistada, teha märkmeid, allkirjastada dokumente ning märkida ekraanipilte. Scribble muudab käsitsi kirjutatud teksti trükitekstiks.
Kaamerad ja heli
Horisontaalservas paiknev 12 MP Center Stage esikaamera hoiab kasutaja videokõne ajal kaadris. 12 MP lainurk-tagakaamera salvestab 4K-videot ning Adaptive True Tone välk aitab hämaras pildistada ja dokumente ühtlaselt skannida. Acoustic Display helisüsteemi kõlarid paiknevad ekraani ning korpuse all, kaks mikrofoni salvestavad loomulikku heli.
