This RAM contains the Intel X.M.P (Extended memory profile) information on the overclocking settings. When these modules are installed in the motherboard supporting X.M.P and 2400 MHz memory frequency all you have to do is to set X.M.P in the BIOS section "Memory settings" and the motherboard will automatically adjust to the optimum performance settings of this memory.
