Warranty

Dateks Grupa warranty applies on all products sold by Dateks.lv according to manufacturers warranty periods and terms which are mentioned in products users manual or warranty card. Minimum warranty period of any goods is 1 year up to 3 years. Precise warranty periods are provided in our products catalogue.

Notebooks and peripherals are serviced in manufacturers official service centres. Rest of the products are warranted by Dateks service on Zemitana st. 6, Riga.

For Estonian and Lithuanian customers: in case of warranty Dateks Grupa provides free of charge carrier pickup from customers address and free return shipment. This option applies to any computer components aswell as any other goods that don`t have official service center in respective countries. In case of a fault warranty case (picked goods do not have any defect), shipment charges apply both to pickup and return according to DPD pricelist!

Warranty of the product is validated by warranty card, that we supply with every purchase. Warranty period is valid from date mentioned in warranty card till the end of warranty period.

In case of warranty event products are being repaired or replaced with analogic products.

Exchange products inherit warranty date and period from non-working products.

Warranty applies on products technical defects that are caused by manufacturing faults.

We do not warranty products that are:

• damaged by liquids, extreme dust, or any damaging foreign bodies inside the casing
• damaged by fire, elements, everyday factors (like changes in electrical voltage)
• damaged by using the product in improper conditions that are beyond capabilities mentioned in technical specification or users manual, including chemical, thermal etc. conditions
• damaged by non standard third party options, supplies, media or software
  

We do not warranty software, users data, file systems, settings, media and supplies.
